Practical Guide to using IRAS

• Creating an IRAS account
• Utilising the contacts database
• Creating a project
• Using the integrated dataset
• Adding SSI and ARSAC forms
• Application checklists
• Transferring forms for collaboration or submission
• Electronic authorisation
• Submission of application forms (including the NIHR CSP Application Form)
• Importing and exporting xml data
• Submission of amendments
• Deleting applications
• Monitoring progress of submitted applications

Focus on REC and R&D applications using IRAS

• Types of review
• Parallel review
• Different R&D systems
• Submitting forms & other documentation
• SSA
Note: A minimum of 1 PC terminal between 2 people will be used
