Peter is a founding Director of INSIGHT Marketing and People Ltd, an international training and consultancy firm specialising in Key and Global Account Management.
Peter has developed an international reputation as one of the leading experts in this area, working ‘hands on’ with clients in Europe, North America, and Asia Pacific.

He is the author of Key Account Management, now in its fifth edition, translated into over twenty languages and used as the standard text by several business schools. He is also the author of Global Account Management, Building the Value Machine, Key Marketing Skills, and Understanding Brands.
His latest book, Understanding the Professional Buyer (co-written with Jan Paul van der Velde) is an essential guide for sales professionals on how the modern buyer thinks and behaves.
Peter presents the INSIGHT Key Account Management Masterclass in Beijing, Budapest, Brussels, Chicago, London, Prague, Singapore, Shanghai, Stockholm, Vienna and Warsaw.
He has a visiting Professor at the IHM Business School in Sweden.
Prior to establishing INSIGHT in 1991, Peter was European Sales and Marketing Manager for ICI Dulux, responsible for marketing Europe’s leading consumer paint brand to national and international retailer chains.
Hakeem Adebiyi - Founder and Director of Hands Associates LTD
Hakeem is an energetic and dynamic businessman who has achieved rapid career progression. Having earned a degree in Science and Management from Kings College London, Hakeem went on to complete a Masters degree. He moved into the pharmaceutical industry in 1996 and worked with the UKs industry leading outsourcing companies. This enabled him to gain strategic insight into the sales and marketing functions of some of the world’s top blue chip Pharma companies including GSK, Pfizer and Aventis. Hakeem then moved into main stream Pharma where he held a number of senior positions including Sales Director and Commercial Director.
The last 8 years has seen Hakeem using his early experiences to lead teams and implement Key Account Management solutions where appropriate.
Hakeem co founded Hands Associates in 2010 and has been helping organisations train, develop and embed Key Account Management into their organisations.
Hakeem lives in the Cheshire countryside with his wife, daughter and son where he pursues his interests in history, football and cycling.
