Events 4 Healthcare specialise in delivering bespoke events for the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical industry. We conceive and delivery Joint Working projects and produce medical education programmes, conferences and training courses for NHS bodies, patient groups and pharmaceutical companies.

Events 4 Healthcare can help you to organise, fund, deliver and report on your conference, exhibition, meeting or workshop.

Our three directors have all held senior management positions in UK based pharmaceutical companies. Our entire event team based in Hertfordshire are all ABPI code of practice trained. In addition we are IATA registered ensuring a high quality of service and preferred rates at all venues used. We have over 50 years combined experience of managing projects with the UK pharmaceutical sector.

We offer a flexible, “can do” attitude – we are intent on building long term working relationships with our customers; we are committed, friendly, professional and will do everything we can do exceed your expectations.

Karl Hamer – Joint Managing Director
Karl has a BA honours in Politics and Economics, is a qualified accountant (CIPFA). Karl has worked within the pharmaceutical sector for 18 years and held a number of roles over that time including National Sales Manager, Head of Sales & Marketing and Director of Strategy and Operations.
During his time at one of the largest UK pharmaceutical companies, Karl worked with a lot of companies in the medical education and events business who did not really understand the needs of the pharmaceutical industry or healthcare professionals; Karl saw an opportunity to make a difference and set up his own business Events 4 Healthcare, along with his wife, Melanie. Ever since its creation five years ago, their aim is simple - enable improved working between different parties, share challenges and opportunities through face to face or digital communication.

Melanie Hamer – Joint Managing Director
Melanie is an NLP Practitioner and ran her own training consultancy. In total Melanie has worked with the pharmaceutical industry for 26 years and held numerous roles throughout her career including Medical Representative, Field Trainer and Regional Business Manager.
Alongside her husband, Karl, Events4Healthcare was created and Melanie and Karl’s aim for the business is clear - they both have a passion for delivery and making sure that both themselves and all the members of their team meet and beat the clients expectations, which is reflected by the feedback received after the event.

Helen Figgins – Commercial Director
Helen has a BSc Honours in Human Biology with Psychology. During her time at university she worked for Red Bull as a sampler and progressed into management, her responsibilities included organising and supporting extreme sports events in the South West of England. Helen joined the pharmaceutical arena in 2002 and held various roles including Medical Representative, Brand Manager and Commercial Manager where Helen was responsible for a portfolio of thirty two brands across four area sales teams within dispensing practices.
Before starting with Events 4 Healthcare in 2010, Helen was an Assistant Manager of Guest Relations at the 2010 Winter Olympics on Cypress Mountain in Vancouver, looking after 200 volunteers on the mountain Helen supported the team ensuring the spectators Olympic experience was safe and unforgettable.
